Senthil Maran wins 15th Kirchseeon BIBER Open 2024
FM Senthil Maran K, Luca Englert (GER) and GM Oleg Korneev (ESP) scored 4.5/5 each at 15th Kirchseeon BIBER Open A (>1750) 2024. Senthil won the tournament due to better tie-break score. Luca and Oleg were placed second and third respectively. The top three prizes were €500, €300 and €200 along with a trophy each. The tournament was organized by Christian Langer, Schachclub Kirchseeon e.V. at ATSV hall in Kirchseeon, Germany from 5th to 7th July 2024. This was Senthil's first Classical and second overall rating tournament triumph of the year. It was organized by Christian Langer, Schachclub Kirchseeon e.V. at ATSV hall in Kirchseeon, Germany from 5th to 7th July 2024. The time control of the tournament was 40 moves in 90 minutes + 15 minutes for the rest + 30 seconds increment from move no.1.
