Leon plays some exciting chess
Leon Luke Mendonca scored 2.0/4 on the third day. He was completely winning in the first game against Maurizzi and he had a good chance against Murzin in the final game of the day.
Round 9: Leon - Maurizzi: 0.5-0.5
Leon started the day with a draw against France's youngest grandmaster, 14-year-old Marc Andria Maurizzi. Although Leon was completely winning in the endgame, he missed his chance and Maurizzi escaped with a draw.

Round 10: Sara - Leon: 0-1
Leon got himself a better position in the middlegame against IM Sarasadat Khademalsharieh (IRI) but she managed to fight back until she misplayed in the endgame and lost the game.
Round 11: Leon - Abdusattorov: 0-1
GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov (UZB) was too strong for Leon as the former converted his advantage into a substantial one in the major piece endgame.
Round 12: Murzin - Leon: 0.5-0.5
Perhaps the most interesting game of the day of Leon was against Murzin which had many layers of endgames in one game.
One of the most critical juncture of the game was the above position. What should be the correct plan for Black here?
