Two ChessBase India Training Camps to Be Held in October: Registration Starts Now!

If you have been waiting for the ChessBase India Training Camp, here's some good news! In the upcoming month of October, two training camps are going to be held. The 5th edition of the ChessBase India Training Camp will take place from October 8th to 13th, while the 6th camp will be held from October 19th to 23rd. As always, the camp will be limited to only 12 players, and it will be based entirely on a 'first-come, first-served' registration policy. Additionally, 2 spots in these camps are reserved for players from Madhya Pradesh. During the camp, participants will undergo about 8 hours of training per day, amounting to nearly 40 hours of rigorous training throughout the camp. At the end of the camp, participants will be awarded certificates. Upon the conclusion of the first camp, players will have the opportunity to participate in the Khelo Chess India Rapid and Blitz Tournament, while after the second camp, they will get to play in the Khelo Chess India Blitz Tournament. Two ChessBase India Training Camps to Be Held in October Once again

ChessBase India Training Camps will be held in Bhopal at the ChessBase India Academy. If you wish to participate, please read the full details and register as soon as possible.

The first ChessBase India camp will be conducted from October 8th to 13th.

The camp will run daily from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with about four hours of rest in between.

The day will begin with meditation for all participants.

During the first half of the day, FIDE Instructor Niklesh Jain will conduct 3 hours of training.

In the second half, WIM Angela Franco will take over the training session.

Woman International Master Angela Franco


WIM Angela Franco is a 12-time national champion of Colombia and is currently Colombia's No. 1 rapid player.

Angela has represented Colombia in 7 Chess Olympiads.

She has trained children in Colombia for nearly 10 years, with many of her students becoming prominent names in Colombian chess today

Angela has been playing chess for her country alongside her sister Beatriz for the past 28 years.

Angela has twice been recognized as one of the top female players at the prestigious Delhi Open (Category A) in India.

FIDE Instructor Niklesh Jain

 

FIDE Instructor Niklesh Jain has been actively working in the field of chess training since 2005. In 2015, Niklesh became the first player from Madhya Pradesh to earn the FIDE Instructor title.

 

Niklesh is licensed as a trainer with FIDE until 2025. वर्ष 2025 तक निकलेश विश्व शतरंज संघ के लाइसेन्स ट्रेनर है 

From 2006 to 2017, he worked as a trainer at the renowned Syna International School in Central India for 11 consecutive years.

In 2009, Niklesh led 8 children from the school to compete in the World School Chess Championship in Greece

where Anshuman Singh won the first-ever chess medal for Madhya Pradesh in an international event.

Under Niklesh’s guidance, the Saina School team became the Madhya Pradesh champions in 2014,

placed third in the National School Championship in 2016, and won the National School Championship in 2017.

In 2017, during the World School Chess Championship in Sochi, Russia, Niklesh served as the coach of the Indian team, which won the silver medal.

Niklesh was also one of the three coaches for the Indian team’s tour to Russia in 2018.

This unique camp will take place under the special supervision of ChessBase India's CEO Sagar Shah and COO Amruta Mokal.
